Bjorn Iversen is the Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Global Services.
Bjorn has more than 25 years of leadership experience, largely within the international telecommunication industry and across a number of continents. During this period, he held various senior positions and contributed as a board member of a number of telecommunication companies.
He is also an established speaker on key industry topics and innovations.
Bjorn is an alumni of BI Norwegian Business School.
Khalid Al Mansouri is the Chief Operating Officer of Ooredoo Global Services.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and more than 21 years of proven success in executive management.
Previous career experience includes becoming the head of national distribution control centres for Kahramaa; Manager of the public work authority business Ashghal; Executive Director of Business Solutions and Chief Officer of New Line of Business for Ooredoo Qatar.
Khalid was the Vice Chairman of Al Jazeera steering committee, as well as a board member of many public, commercial and business organisations. He prides himself on his excellent communication, interpersonal, and innovative leadership skills.
Kalpathi is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Ooredoo Global Services, and has contributed significantly in improving the cash-flows of operations through benchmarking analysis, process re-engineering and enhancing shareholder’s value.
He is a Management Graduate and Chartered Accountant who holds over 25 years of experience in all aspects of finance in manufacturing, retail and the telecom industries including green field’s telecom operations.
Kalpathi has more than 6 years’ experience at Ooredoo Group Finance function as Senior Director Investment Management.
Obaid is the Head of Strategy and Business Development at Ooredoo Global Services and has been instrumental in conceptualizing and transforming the Ooredoo Group’s wholesale business under OGS umbrella.
He has more than 20 years of senior management experience in the telecoms industry across four different continents. He has held various leadership positions with global and blue-chip firms in transformation, strategy, wholesale and operations functions.
He has co-led some key industry initiatives including creation of Near Real-Time Roaming Data Exchange, IPX and Global Roaming Quality programme.
Obaid is an alumni of London Business School and an avid Formula 1 fan. He is also the Vice-Chairman of Wholesale Working Group of SAMENA Telecommunications Council.
Alexander Matianis is the Head of Human Resources at Ooredoo Global Services.
In his role, Alexander is responsible for leading the HR function and streamlining best HR initiatives and practices to support OGS’ global operations.
He has more than 18 years of global experience in designing and delivering people growth strategies, talent centric solutions and HR innovative practices across various industries and countries
Alexander holds an MSc in HR Management and Development from the University of Manchester, an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Administrative Studies in Marketing from the University of York in Canada.
Navneet Singh is the Head of Data and Capacity at Ooredoo Global Services.
He has over 20 years of experience working for leading global and ICT companies and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a specialisation in telecommunications.
Navneet has worked for and with Ooredoo for more than 7 years in various leadership positions and has demonstrated his commitment and strong leadership skills.
Priding himself on his expertise in developing global network - submarine and terrestrial, integrated voice, roaming and data/ IP networks, Navneet is playing a key role within Ooredoo Global Services, helping to develop robust, world-class IP networks, top line wholesale data, and grow Ooredoo’s capacity business.
Dr. Shaikha Al-Jabir is Ooredoo’s Executive Director of Customer Experience and has worked with the company since 2010.
In her role as Group’s Executive Director of Customer Experience, Dr. Shaikha leads company-wide initiatives to ensure a consistent, positive experience for every customer.
She has a strong background in the commercial and technical aspects of telecommunications and information technology, with more than 30 years of experience within the public and private sectors and extensive experience in ICT strategies, digital transformation and business development.
She is also on the Boards of Directors of Ooredoo Oman and Ooredoo Tunisia.
Dr. Shaikha holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Surrey in the UK, an MS in Telecommunications and Computers from George Washington University in the USA, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kuwait University.
Yousuf Abdulla Al Kubaisi is a Chairman and Board Member of Ooredoo Global Services.
For more than 30 years, Yousuf has held leading roles across Ooredoo’s international infrastructure, business services, regulatory functions and wholesale.
He has a track record of achieving strong organic growth for the wholesale operations at Ooredoo Qatar, where he is currently Chief Operating Officer.
Since joining Ooredoo, Yousuf undertook a number of key roles within the company, including Senior Director - Regulatory Management; Chief Wholesale and International Officer, and many others.
He had spearheaded the launch of Ooredoo Global Services at the beginning of 2014 and was responsible for leading the company’s global growth in wholesale voice, data, capacity and roaming. He was the CEO of OGS for more than 2 years.
His vision is to create an ecosystem that would serve both the needs of Ooredoo ’s operating companies and other strategic partners to create innovative new offerings.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Western Michigan University.
Yousuf is also a board member of Navlink, Ooredoo Tunisia, and government committees.
Eisa Mohammed Al-Mohannadi is the Director of Revenue Assurance and Compliance at Ooredoo Global Services.
Eisa is an expert in his field, with more than 12 years of experience in the financial and banking sectors.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Marymount University, Washington D.C.
Eisa Al-Mohannadi is also a board member of Watanyia Palestine, Ooredoo Global Services and Rocket Internet Holdings.
